Peter Cristiano, M.D., F.A.A.F.P
Dr. Peter Cristiano is a highly respected, board-certified family physician who has dedicated his career to caring for individuals and families in the Leavenworth and Lansing communities. With decades of experience in family medicine, Dr. Cristiano has built his practice on a foundation of compassionate care, medical expertise, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of his patients.
A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Cristiano has been practicing and specializing in Family Practice since 1986. He has maintained his professional commitment to excellence through board certification by the American Board of Family Practice, including recertification from 2008 through 2015.
Before beginning his career in civilian medicine, Dr. Cristiano proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that helped shape his lifelong dedication to service and caring for others.
For nearly three decades, Dr. Cristiano has served patients throughout the Leavenworth and Lansing area, becoming a trusted physician and familiar presence within the local community. His approach to medicine reflects the values of family practice at its best: listening carefully, treating each patient as an individual, and providing thoughtful, comprehensive care across generations.

Mira Kim, A. P. R.N
Mira Kim, A.P.R.N., is an experienced and compassionate advanced practice nurse dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care to individuals and families in her community.
Mira earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Kansas Medical Center in July 2009. Prior to joining LLFHC, she served as the Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic at Kansas University Medical Center, where she gained valuable experience caring for patients with complex medical needs and supporting them throughout their treatment journeys.
Mira is a registered nurse in both Kansas and Missouri and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Kansas. Her clinical experience, combined with her commitment to compassionate care, allows her to approach each patient with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
Beyond her clinical work, Mira has a strong commitment to serving her community. She has volunteered in nursing homes, contributed her time to Meals on Wheels, and worked with the JayDoc Free Clinic to help provide care and support to those in need. Her dedication to service reflects her belief that caring for patients extends beyond the walls of a medical practice.
Mira is also fluent in Korean, allowing her to communicate comfortably with Korean-speaking patients and families. Her clinical expertise, community involvement, and dedication to helping others make her a valued member of the LLFHC team.
Anna Shuck, A.P.R.N
Anna Shuck, A.P.R.N., is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a strong clinical background and a patient-centered approach to her work at LLFHC.
Anna earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in 2019. Her advanced education prepared her to provide comprehensive care to patients and families across a broad range of healthcare needs.
Before joining LLFHC, Anna gained valuable hands-on experience working as an Emergency Department Nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, now part of AdventHealth. Her experience in the fast-paced emergency department environment strengthened her clinical judgment, ability to respond to complex medical situations, and commitment to providing calm, attentive care to patients during times of need.
Anna is a registered nurse in both Kansas and Missouri and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Kansas. She combines her emergency medicine experience with her advanced training in family practice to provide thoughtful, individualized care to patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Anna is committed to building trusting relationships with her patients and helping them feel informed, respected, and confident in their care. Her clinical experience, compassion, and dedication to serving others make her a valued member of the LLFHC team.
Joan-Zipporah Muruku, A.P.R.N
Joan is a caring and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who provides primary care to patients of all ages. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse in 2013 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2015. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2023 and became a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Joan provides preventive care, chronic disease management, health education, and treatment for a variety of healthcare needs. She is committed to listening to her patients, understanding their concerns, and providing compassionate, personalized care.
Her years of nursing experience and dedication to her patients make her a valued member of the LLFHC team.
